We drive for about an hour and a half to Ollantaytambo where we will take our train until kilometer 104, where our trek starts. Our trek today takes us along the most wonderful stretch of the Classic Inca Trail 4 Days. We\u2019ll visit beautiful Inca sites, see a variety of flora and fauna, and get to take in the stunning panoramas of the Andes. Walking 10km of the trail our hike begins in the Sacred Valley and works its way up along a paved Inca trail to the archeological site of Winay Wayna before continuing on to Machu Picchu via the Sun Gate (Inti Punku). After visiting Wi\u00f1ay Wayna, we will have our box lunch.<\/p><p id=\"u67689-7\">After enjoying our meal. we\u2019ll hike through the lush and green cloud forest that covers the mountain and get to see a wide variety of plants, flowers, orchids, and birds along the way.<\/p><p id=\"u67689-9\">After\u00a0 5 hours\u00a0 hiking, we\u2019ll arrive at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) in the afternoon, where we\u2019ll have our first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu nestled on the mountain ridge below. After passing through the Sun Gate, we\u2019ll continue hiking for about 45 minutes to reach Machu Picchu. Once there, we\u2019ll explore the upper section of Machu Picchu, stopping at three scenic viewpoints to capture iconic photos of the site. The advantage is that these spots are usually less crowded, allowing for a more peaceful experience.<\/p><p id=\"u67689-12\">Afterward, we\u2019ll exit Machu Picchu briefly to register and use the restrooms, then re-enter around 3:00 PM for a 2 hours guided tour along Circuit 2 or 3. This tour will cover the most significant areas of Machu Picchu, including several key temples. At 5 PM, we\u2019ll take a bus to Aguas Calientes for dinner. Afterward, we\u2019ll board the 6:20 PM train back to Ollantaytambo, where our\u00a0 transport\u00a0 will take us back to Cusco. We drive for about an hour and a half to Ollantaytambo where we will take our train until kilometer 104, where our trek starts. Our trek today takes us along the most wonderful stretch of the Classic Inca Trail 4 Days. We\u2019ll visit beautiful Inca sites, see a variety of flora and fauna, and get to take in the stunning panoramas of the Andes. Walking 10km of the trail our hike begins in the Sacred Valley and works its way up along a paved Inca trail to the archeological site of Winay Wayna before continuing on to Machu Picchu via the Sun Gate (Inti Punku). After visiting Wi\u00f1ay Wayna, we will have our box lunch. After enjoying our meal. we\u2019ll hike through the lush and green cloud forest that covers the mountain and get to see a wide variety of plants, flowers, orchids, and birds along the way. After\u00a0 5 hours\u00a0 hiking, we\u2019ll arrive at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) in the afternoon, where we\u2019ll have our first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu nestled on the mountain ridge below. After passing through the Sun Gate, we\u2019ll continue hiking for about 45 minutes to reach Machu Picchu. Once there, we\u2019ll explore the upper section of Machu Picchu, stopping at three scenic viewpoints to capture iconic photos of the site.
