Inca Trail 4 days; for a more adventurous Inca Trail experience, we offer the famous inca trail 4 days to Picchu. This trail is much more demanding than our 2-Day option, and you will camp along the trail. The trail passes through the Andean cloud forest and over stunning mountain passes. You will discover ancient archaeological sites and a variety of flora and fauna along this original Inca Trail. You will be accompanied by a team of porters who will transport your gear and a master chef to prepare your meals as you trek and camp your way to the famous Machu Picchu ruins.

Itinerary – Inca Trail 4 days
DAY 1: Cusco – Wayllabamba
Depart Cusco at 6:00 in the morning by our private transport to ollantaytambo where you can have your breakfast then drive 30 more minutes to the community of Piscaycucho where we cross the Urubamba River by bridge and begin the Inca Trail. We will follow a trail along the Urubamba River, enjoying stunning views of the snow-capped Mount Veronica (5830m) and reach the Inca archeological remains at Llactapata by mid-day. lunch with amazing views then we Continue through lush farmland and woodlands, we climb gradually to our first campsite at Wayllabamba.
DAY 2: Wayllabamba – Pacaymayo
After breakfast and an early start, we begin a steep climb through the Andean cloud forest and highland puna to the highest point on our trek, Warminwañuscca, or Dead Woman’s Pass. During our ascent, we will enjoy the wide variety of plant, flower, and bird species supported by this unique eco-climate. Once we reach the pass, our challenge is rewarded by an astonishing panoramic view of the Vilcanota and Vilcabamba mountain ranges. From here, we descend into the Pacaymayo river valley and on to our second campsite at Pacaymayo.
DAY 3: Pacaymayo – Wiñay Wayna
This day we follow ancient stone paths and steps over Runkuracay Pass to the well-preserved Inca remains of Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, and Phuyupatamarca. We will view the Incas’ complex architectural style and reverence for natural geography and beauty. rigth after visiting Sayacmarca you will have a delicious lunch with amazing views. then we go back on the trail to head down the sub-tropical Andean slope we reach another strategic and aesthetically-situated site at Wiñay Wayna, where we camp for the night.
DAY 4: Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Leaving Wiñay Wayna, we continue through the highland jungle to our destination: Intupunku, or the Sun Gate to Machu Picchu. Arriving at daybreak, we catch our first breathtaking view of this historical wonder. We have the rest of the day to learn about and explore the main complex of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary before taking the train back to Cusco in the afternoon.
