Day 1: Arrive to Cusco, at your arrival time we will come to pick you up at the airport  to give you a drive  to your hotel in Cusco, then free time the rest of the afternoon, this is with the idea  to acclimatize to high altitude that cusco city has. Over 11000ft.

 

Day 2: Cusco City Tour- half day tour

We will come to pick you up at your hotel at 9:00 am, Our City Tour Cusco; will escort you to the most important sites of Cusco. Including visits to the

Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), Cusco city Center as well as Inca sites found just outside the city.

Day 3: Sacred Valley: Chinchero – Moray – Salt Mines – Ollantaytambo

We pick you up early from your hotel for our tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Chinchero is a very interesting colonial town that is organized into weaving cooperatives. Here you will learn the process of preparing and dyeing wool using natural dyes and weaving beautiful textiles. Moray is an impressive collection of circular terraces which the Incas used as an agricultural laboratory. You will learn how their master engineers experimented with microclimates and different soils to enhance their production. The Maras Salt Mines is one of the oldest mines of the Incas where they produced pure and natural salt. The mines are still worked today by the community of Maras. We will also visit the Maras colonial town where you will find the beautiful Colonial and Inca Architecture, Following lunch in the town of Urubamba, we will continue to Ollantaytambo with its impressive Inca fortress guarding the entry to the valley. Ollantaytambo was a strategic military, religious, and agricultural center. We have time to stroll along the picturesque streets of this magical and original Inca  town, then  you will spend the night in a hotel  and rest well to  hike Inca Trail to Machupicchu next day.

Day 4 & 5: Inca trail to Machupicchu

Inca Trail 2 days; this trek is a fantastic option for those who don’t have the time or desire to hike the full length of the Inca Trail. No camping is required. With beautiful scenery, a wide variety of flora and fauna and a visit to the Inca Trail’s most beautiful site (Wiñay Wayna), you get to enjoy the best of the Inca Trail on a condensed schedule and still enter Machu Picchu through the awe-inspiring Sun Gate entrance. With one day of hiking and one day visiting the ruins of Machu Picchu, the 2-Day Inca Trail tour is perfect for families with children and those on a tight schedule.

 

Day 4: Ollantaytambo – Kilometer 104 – Aguas Calientes

We will pick you up at your hotel in Ollantaytambo then walk to train station by 5 minutes, and from there take the Machu Picchu train to kilometer 104. There our trek will begin and we will work our way up the most impressive stretch of the Inca Trail. As we pass through the lush and verdant cloud forest that covers the mountain we will see a variety of plants, flowers and birds. We will also visit beautiful Inca sites, including Wiñay Wayna, and enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the Andes mountains. After a full day of trekking we’ll arrive at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) and get our first views of Machu Picchu spread out on the mountain below. The light in late afternoon is great for photos, and with fewer tourists in the site later in the day, it’s a perfect time to take many pictures. After we’ve passed through the Sun Gate we’ll continue along the trail to get to machupicchu  the lost city of the incas, on this day  we can only take pictures   and appreciate  the beauty of this city. after photos  we head out  of the city  to the bus station   for the bus  ride to Aguas Calientes in the valley below where we’ll check into our hotel.

We’ll have around 3-hour guided tour of the site during which you’ll learn about the Incas and visit the most important areas of the citadel. After your tour you’ll have free time to explore, if you have permits, to climb either Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain. In the afternoon  you will take the bus back to aguas calientes town to have lunch then you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo where you will be taken by private transport back to your hotel in Cusco.
